I'm implementing a series of cloud deployment projects on Azure, building incrementally from basic pipelines to production-grade infrastructure. Each project demonstrates core DevOps patterns and adds complexity, showing how the same principles scale from simple deployments to distributed systems.
In June, I was offered a position for a short term role as a teaching assisstant for an upcoming Cloud Dev Ops Bootcamp. While I was fairly versed in AWS, this course would be taught using Azure.
At the end of January, energised by my newly acquired AWS Cloud practitioner certificate, I set out to be prepared to take my SAA-C03 exam by March. I did my research to find out whose tutorials I would be cramming ahead of my exam date and decided on Stephane Maarek's course on Udemy. I planed to take four modules a day and be fully prepared to take my exam in a matter of months.
In October last year, I was accepted into the AWS Cloud Women's Mentorship program. For the next 12 weeks, I worked with my fantastic mentor Darren trying to figure out my place in cloud.
Thrilled to share that after a long year filled with hard work and an unprecedented amount of coffee, I have completed my MSc in Cloud Computing at the National College of Ireland.
